This piece is the first album by a new duo and consists of improvisations without a plot. The piano by Yuichi Yonezawa, and sound collage by Alminium. Many stories can be imagined from the seven instrumentals.

The first and last tracks were recorded live in a cafe, include every little ambient sound. What we have here are various noises sampled from the city we live in, and the shimmering of an emotional piano that drifts away while searching for the treasure it holds there.

And the other five tracks that form the core of "IN MAY" were recorded in the studio. Despite simple compositions, there are some moments of subtle detachment from the organic timeline.

The physical pulses, inorganic grooves, and gradation of noise create a unique soundscape. These like a kind of sharpened breathing, as if searching for the space between sound and silence.

Their fluctuations of overtones spread like waves, and the beat is distorted by the quiet frenzy of players. Even they cannot predict where they will go. They go on a journey with the scenery they must have seen someday, and dance in their favorite places.
